i want to get some cheap alum. roller rockers for my 78 350. or some stamped if they will fit better.

will they clear my valve covers?

will my springs handle 1.6 rocker with my .454 lift cam? they are stock.

this is like what i want but i dont know what my studs are or if they will fit in the covers, or if my spring and push rods will work.

Well we kinda need to know what heads you have to answer this question.

If you can use roller rocker . . use them . . . better than the ol' stamped sort.

Your springs should handle it, but new springs are always a plus. Check that your pushrods clear the pushrod slots. With 1.6 rockers and higher lifts, they might not clear. You are probably okay.

You also need to think about your rocker studs, if they are pressed in (which is probably the case with stock heads). The 1.6 rockers will put a little more "stress" on them. Might not be enough to worry about, just something to keep in mind.
