what rpm should i be running on the highway 65-70 mph 350 chevy 350 turbo 3:42 gears 14'' rims to day is the first day on the highway with my new gears 65-70 i was at about 3,500-4,000 rmp is that to much and how long can i ride that fast?

till you run out of gas money .
that sounds right on rpm with gear and small tire .
need a overdrive from bowtie trans .2200 stall and detent cable and shipped to shipper near you , and they start the guarantee after you put in car .and all for $1500

will get you down to 3 grand on rpms and launch you quick .
you could go bigger wheel and tires , but not as fun as trans and your 14's

Need the diameter of your tire to calculate.....26, 27, 28" etc.

you need to get 4 speed tranny, I did have same problem and I install 700R4 took the 350 and dump it... check your odometer reading!!!

the actual tire size is 25 inches tall sitting on my car the odometer is way off a friend gave me a new gear to see if it helps my stall is 3,000-3,500

Rpm calculator shows ...25" tire, 350 turbo, 3.42 gears @ 70 mph = 3217 rpm

is it ok to drive that on the highway for a extened period of time 1 1/2 hrs
