i am looking at a 1993 chevy s-10 to buy but i have been told that the s-10 with the (( 4-cyl)) are no good and that is what this one has ,,but i dont know so if any one knows ((((PLEASE LET ME KNOW)))0 THANKS TIM
Can't be any worse than the 80s 2.8 v6..............those slugs can't get out of their own way...................They do last though....mine has 200,000 on it.
the heads on the 2.5L S10 4cyls will need a valve job sooner or later, they seem to actully need them right around around 100k which would be considered premature for most newer engines, but other than that, there great running engines. my uncle has a 2000 with the 4cyl and 5spd, gets almost 30 MPG.
