I live in the San Francisco Bay Area (Pleasanton) and would like to find a top paint shop.

I have a 96 Corvette Grand Sport (only made 1000) and need to have car repainted. I would like to use a shop that has good experience in dismantling and reassembly of a Corvette.

Would appreciate any recoomendations as to a good shop and what make of paint you might recommend.

Thanks,

Bill

Bill, I can't help you out with a shop recomendation, but since there were only 1000 of those cars made I would recomend you use the exact same paint as it was from the factory. Any shop can fing the paint code so all you'll have to do is poney up the dough and let them work. Have fun :D

P.S. was this one of the canary yellow corvettes with the LT-4 engine? I'm not to fluent in corvettes so just asking.

The 96 Grand Sport is painted Admiral Blue with a white racing stripe over the entire top of the car and also has two red hashmarks on drivers front fender.

Has LT4 engine with about 350 hp from factory.
