Hello, I have a 64, 327vette, 250HP base engine. We are re-doing the engine and want to do a mild hp upgrade. the original heads are :3795896 and I have rebuild heads with stainless valves etc, they are : 3947041 .
Will put on a new edelbrock intake and carb, mild cam, headers etc.
Does anyone know which would be the better heads to use. and what the difference is.
Thanks, Frank, [email protected]

re-heads

hi thought i'd drop you a little help

1.37958996 are 327 (62-67 pass/truck heads (283/63-67 heads )both small valve no head bolt holes for brackets.if just driving ok
2.3947041 are 350(69-corvette heads 61cc chamber 1.94/or 2.02 valve depending on application.also came on camaro/nova/chevelle (69-70) the are 4-bc large plug. you stated edel carb &intake cam but no spec's and no rpm range you need to be.both are 43 yr.old tecnology and have no hardened seats.you could use world s/r 305 or sportsman II .if still stuck pm and we will go further into this.
