Hello I am in the process of sanding down and repainting the roof of my scout and the gutter or rain catcher that runs above all the windows has a factory sealer that I have removed to take care of the rust underneath it.

-So I need to know if there is a good *paintable* silicone seam sealer to use in this situation or will anything designed for this situation work.

-I want it to hold up and last permanently if possible.

get automotive seamsealer ,not silly cone nothing sticks to it.I use fast & firm for gutters,about 15.00 a tube (chaulk gun)

Yep Sillycone and paintable are 2 words that don't go together.

Like "hot " water heater? :mwink: or government intelligence? The proper seamsealer will have " paintable" right on it
