at what point do you apply seam sealer


i am doing a transporter for cars at the min and replacing inner outer sills wings and arches that are all bare metal


i would have thought clean the metal then apply seam sealer then epoxy then repairs then 2k prime????

I'm sure the Pro's will chime in here, but I Epoxy Primed, then used 3M two part Seam Sealer-hope this helps-

Hi,i usually put the epoxy primer on with a small brush,trying to force the primer between the seam of the metal,,at least 2 coats,then i brush on the seam sealer, and smooth it with a squegee it works for me.

so if i epoxy all my van then seam seal and do my bondo repairs ?
