Hope you have mucho experience at cutting and welding and a Sawzall.
There have been over the years many articles in magazines about sectioning and pie-cutting hoods to drop the nose.
Check archives of articles in Rod & Custom, Custom Rodder, Street Rodder, Rod Action, Hot Rod Mechanix, and others.
You'll be cutting through the entire length of the body stepping up over the wheelwells probably and shortening the deck lid and sectioning the front fenders, dropping the radiator between the frame rails, etc. etc.
If you don't already have the skills to tackle this job, don't start until you do. There is no sense in screwing up a good old car as a "learning experience". Get the skill, get the tools, and enjoy your project.
