I have a ’69 Mustang… it rides like the rear axle is welded to the frame. I took a look at the springs and the shackles are angled all the way back so they are sitting on the frame… I got a new spring and shackle kit and it’s doing the same thing (a little improvement actually, but not much). Unless I’m missing something, aren’t the shackles supposed to be in a relatively straight up and down position to allow for flex either way. Ideas?

Height is good, the springs are specific for that car (from CJ's Pony Parts). I originally thought the springs were from another car, but the new ones are doing the same thing... I'm stumped... it's not like the car got shorter.
