I'm working on a 1936 Chevy Master 2 door sedan. Check out my journal, if you need a picture.

I have shaved all door handles, hidden hinges, etc. Now I'm working the original hood and have two more handles to deal with. I'm stumped on how to do this. Looking for any ideas that will help.

Appreciate any ideas at this point.

I hate to ask a stupid question but what exactly are you having trouble doing??????

Are you asking about the hood handles????

You can possibly remove the handles, cut off the portion that sticks out of the hood and weld a allen head bolt head on there so the hood can be opened by a hex handle you make from an allen wrench. Simple, unobtrusive,and pretty smooth.

Hot Rod 47 sorry I wasn't specific enough. I'm looking to eliminate the handles on each side of the original hood. Since everything else has been smoothed I don't want two handles sticking out of the hood sides.

pasadena hot rod came up with a good idea. Looking for a number of ideas to decide between.
