i have a very fresh 350 in my 88 burb its a throttle body ...i have no idea what cam it is ..but its pretty lopey eng orig came w/ a holly inject. system burb is a 4wd auto 700r4 ...now has factory THB ...also has 1.5 roller rockers the damn thing doesnt seem to build enough vac. timing is @ 36* advance so it idles..................can i change throttle bodys to another fact. unit and make it run better????

imp: Sounds like you have to large a cam for the application, you can change cams to a milder one or install a vacum cannister large enough to handle your braking needs. Seeing that it's 4wd I would probably opt for the cam and get a good rv grind which would also help your fuel mileage. :thumbup:1 - 2 of 2 Posts
