ok i have a 67'mustang and i think the back right shock is squeeking .....could i replace the shocks my self ....with just simple tools........would i have to jack the car up ?....if anyone knows anything about this message me thanks
Should be fairly straight forward. You will need to jack up the car. A decent tool set should have everything you need. I am not very familiar with the mustangs suspension but most shocks I've dealt with (mainly on trucks and a few corvettes) have been fairy easy to do. I'd look through a book about your car real quick to see whats involved. BTW next time you should post this in the Suspension-brakes-and steering forum as you will probably get quicker more in-depth responses.
