Hey guys, do you know of any spark plugs which are a little shorter than this tapered-seat NGK UR5GP? Seems like I used shorter ones several years ago on another vehicle, but they may have used a gasket.
Thanks. I found some Accel shorty plugs that might work. Waiting to hear back from Holley about insulator length. Also, they seem to be available in only one heat range, which is equivalent to NGK 7.
The NGK non resister racing style plugs are the same lenght as the Accel I do believe. A non resistor plug might play games with other electronics though.
My experience with Accel plugs is they are cold beasts that are hard to keep clean on the street if your not driving long distances at freeway speeds or better. For day to day especially in city traffic the NKG’s work will without fouling problems are are shorter to where they usually aren’t a problem clearing headers.
