I was wondering if any of you guys from the west coast know what the status of the Tahoe, Reno, and Donner pass area was as far as snowfall. My sister is traveling with her boyfriend and I think they are caught in a huge snow storm. I was worried.

I heard talk of 7-10 feet of snow in elevated areas of the mountains.

On the 11 p.m. news tonight, they were putting people in shelters if they were stranded on the roads. They are doing avalnche blasting in parts of Tahoe. This area is well traveled and no one will leave them to the elements, they should be fine. 1-2 feet of snow predicted for each of the next 2 days. Dan
