I tried to attach my TPI tech speedometer sensor to my speedometer gear housing on the tranny and it can't get on far enough to screw on. The area where the needle inserts is seating into the sensor before the outer edge, where the threads of the sensor are, start to grab. This is for a 2004r, I don't remember where I got the speedometer gear housing from, it was a junkyard find. but I'm wondering if they make different housings that would fit my sensor or something. I havn't been able to get through to a TPI tech guy yet for help from them. But I'm hoping someone on here has hit this before and can offer advice.
