Need some advice. I probably already know the answer to this, but I wanna run it by someone else and see what ya'll have to say.

On my Morris Minor project, I am looking at a getting a custom built Mustang II kit that will fit my car. One of the parameters that they ask for is what setup I want on front, shock thru (300 lbs), coil-overs (450 lbs), or air bags (which I don't want). The car probably won't weigh over 2000-2200 lbs when done (if that much), with a SBF in front. I figure as light as the car is, just going with the shock thru setup would probably be sufficient.

From speedway motors coilover spring rate chart , 1100 +- frt weight calls for 120# spring rate , 3-450 # spring rate would make a solid ( no movement) frt suspension..
