I have a 89 chevorlet full size blazer 350 efi 4wd, auto tranny.

the starter was working just not engaging with the flywheel, so i took it off and sure enough the teeth on the thing were wore flat so i bought a new starter got it all bolted on and wired up but it wont even start. no noise, no juice.

so im thinking i got it wired wrong. does anyone here know how to correctly wire it?

thanks for any info

You probably have it wired wrong..........if it was working before....except for the teeth of course.

Do your other accessories work?....lights, wipers etc? ...If not, you left a wire off the large main terminal. The large wire from the bayyery also goes here.

A small wire goes to the "S" terminal. Thats the one on the solenoid that is closest to the engine block. On those years, I believe it is purple. Best way, is to have a friend turn the key all the way to the start position and put a tester on the wires until you get the live one.

Sorry, I dont have a diagram handy.
