The tilit steering column on my sons 1985 transam is really loose. It seems to be loose at the dash where the column actually tilts. I have heard that this is a problem with that car and year. I have never repaired of replace a steering column. I have heard that it is not worth trying to fix. Does anybody have any info to help?
