Just rebuilt my 383 took around 3 months ,the carb.is a Holley 750 double pumper an motor has slight miss . Has rad cam anyway I think the air fuel is out of wack an ive tried almost everything started a 1 1/2 out at 1/4 turns after that can't get a good timing because of miss ,could the carb be messed up after sitting for 3 months, or maybe I have one of the intake valves is staying open slightly im lost on this slight miss issue replaced cap rotor wires,

You will have to get your timing sorted first.
Is the #1 plug wire not giving signal to the light?

use inductive light and check all the wires for fire. If the carb went dry maybe the bowls/are stained? Maybe gas went stale. do all the proper tune checks before asking the question???

All the time miss or now and then?

Does it go away when the engine gets warmed up?

How big is the cam?

A miss so big you can’t time the engine?

Intake is a what?

What is the compression?

Shut down for 3 months with leaving the carb wet with fuel to evaporate is an invitation to problems but not necessarily the problem.
