I am a stubborn ******* who is going to try to paint my 23 t-bucket myself. If I use a base coat/clear coat system does it have to be buffed out? Base coat and clear buffed? How about the single coat system like Nason by DuPont? Does it need buffing? I have thought of using a single coat system for the frame and suspension, to avoid buffing all those weird shaped pieces. Is this OK? Then use a BC/CC system on the body where it would be easier to buff out.

Thanks HK I thought about the POR for the frame, but wanted to paint it a "Patriot Blue Metllic". If I am ead set on that color, which is the best paint system?

Don't know of a good CHEAP powder coater in the Providence RI area do you???
Figure powder is out of my budget. Thanks for the tip on the acrylic urethane though. My buddy has an HVLP set up at work he can borrow. Am I screwing up big time trying to use it? or am I better off sticking to my old Sears squirter?
