I'd like to be able to disconnect the headlights from the harness via a simple WeatherPak style plug to aid in grille shell/radiator removal. Any suggestions on what to use/look for?

That's what I'm wanting to use. I just wasn't sure if there were any special considerations to account for (voltage, wire size, etc. )

Sure there are concerns about wire size, match the weatherpak pin size to the same size of your existing headlight wire size........ I guess what I'm saying..... you already have this figured out...... just do it.
