Quick question I'm in a bind I live too far from the city..60 miles&got myself in a bind I had handed down to bare metal in a few places but I'm out of self etching primer can I get by with shooting my summit 2k primer uratheine surfacer over it?Its a dd not a show car&might be selling to get a cummins anyways so I know it'll stick but will it make the paint come off etc?I have no choice but to finish this today&Noway to get to a parts store to even get some rattle can.

I haven't seen the tech sheet on that 2K but every one I've
seen on other brands has always said it's fine on small
spots of exposed metal, like silver dollar size or smaller.
So far small break throughs it's fine.
There are a lot of people out there that has done an entire
bare metal panel with 2K (urethane) primer only and it's held fine.
I did the same thing when I first started using 2K primer
on an entire car I stripped and it held fine, so I think it's better
than most would think.
