I have used a carbon type canister respirator for years now. But I am worried that it may not be enough. I paint about two or three cars a year mostly with bc/cc urethane and 2K primers and some single stage stuff. Should I invest in a supplied air mask? I am an old guy but I love what I do and want as many years I can get and just thought I would ask the question.
Thanks in advance.

I think I would if I were in that position. You always have clean air with the supplied air system and the canisters wear out and need replacement on a regular basis.
