I have a 75 Opel with the TH180 automatic transmission. After it wits for about a week, the trans gushes (pukes) ATF all over the floor. I have been told it is probably the hub seal leaking. As a friend told me the bushing moves forward and blocks the drain hole.
I know I'm probably grasping at straws, but I need to know if there is any way to correct this without removing the transmission and replacing the torque converter?
