I have a locked up th350c I'm replacing my old 2400 stall with a 4000 it's an 9' stall but I'm kinda worried if it's all the way seated I only heard 2 clunks but the converter is all the way in the pump I see no shiny part on converter

convertor seated?

Sounds like you have it, is kind of obvious though with pushing and turning it and it goes in one stage then continuing does it again, one more thing though is that it will be back inside past the face of the case, not flush. If not pull out and try again. You will get it.

Straightedge across the bellhousing, measure the depth to the converter lugs. Compare that to the measurement from the rear face of the block to the mounting pads on the flexplate. First dim should be 1/8" to 1/4" greater than the second...
