Check your wires

Doc here :pimp:

Get a good Engine/frame ground. Then check your power wire, I'll bet you'll find it on the signal system...

If not, you may have some charging issues at idle...

I have the power lead tapped into the fuse box. I am still getting a slight (jump) in the needle.Also..When my lights are on ,the directional slows down a bit. Where else should I hook her up, to eliminate some surge?? THX doc..

Power

Doc here:pimp:

If your off the Fuse box and nothing else is coming off the fuse your pretty good there.

With dimming on the lighting system, and surging at idle, I would test the alternator and Load test the Battery, Sounds like it's not supporting the system under low idle, full load.
