Hey, I'm new to this so hope someone can help me out. I have a 1987 350 with tbi and I want to put a 1979 4bbl intake on it but the intake doesn't look like it seats properly. Is this correct, do I need to use the 79 heads on this block?

Hi, :welcome:
Welcome to Hotrodders, glad to have you with us.
The 87 model was the first year for swirl heads vortecs
you'll need a different manifold.
