My brother's small block 350 89 CHEV PU blew due to finances and availability wants to replace it with a stroker from an earlier year.
Will a TBI manifold bolt up to an edlebrock high rise?
He is working and asked me to find out, looks like I found the experts here. Thanks. :)

Are you looking to put the tbi manifold on an older engine?

If so, you will need to open the 2 center bolt holes on the intake manifold on both sides. Place the intake on the heads and it will become obvious.

Its not the best but it is done all the time in retro fits of TBI.

Also if the engine has a different cam or compression / serious modifications you may need a new chip burned.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! I told him, he said he might be just go with a carb. I personally don't know squat about engines but isn't that going to screw up more than it is going to fix?(Putting the carb on) I seem to recall him doing this to a different pickup that wasn't running good he ripped off the TBI and put a carb on and ended up running all new lines and... come to think of it that rig went up in flames just about a year ago. Thanks again :D
