It's a GM 1182 , obviously not like other 1182s
Apparently this guy raced the **** out of it. Says its a high revver. And I believe him , because he's got more supercharged motors than he has space for the project hes working on. I might have met Chevy God.

I got it - offset grinding. That's why the rod journals are so small.
What an interesting process.

Not too many years ago there were cheater cranks for oval racing that had 1182 forged in them to fool the casual inspector.

Thats pretty cool. And now I know another way to cheat.
