Hey all. I want to apply a 'textured' finish to the interior step sills of my 55.5 Chevy truck. I want to paint over the textured paint layer to keep the color uniform throughout the interior. The bare metal will be sprayed with epoxy primer, then I plan to apply the texture paint to the sills, then spray with 2k urethane primer (no finish coats, it's a weekend driver truckrod kinda thing). Anywho, I've seen SEM aerosol products, and Gravi-guard, etc. Anyone know which one of these (or any others?) would be best for this application? I'd prefer a heavy texture, to prevent scratches/marring as much as possible. Thanks in advance!
