Just got a 305sbc that im gonna put in my 86 silverado it already has a 700r4 on it but I have a access to a th350, Should I stick with 700 or opt for the 350. Truck is going to be a daily driver.

for a daily driver, id stick with the 700 if you not going to be towing anything. the o.d. will help with gas mileage.
if its overall strength and reliability you want then, id choose the 350, or a well built 700.

hey i run a 700 with my 350 s-10 and it works great. it work well on the highway at 100 kph, it revs 1700, with 355 gears. if your going to race it then i'd be going with the 350 i think but i've had good luck with the 700's
