Im working on a 1970 camaro with a 350/ 350 and i dont know what the proper tension for the TV cable is.......i heard that the tighter it is....the harder the shifts will be and the looser it is the softer the shifts will be.....can someone please fill me in and give me a approximate tension???THANKS

From what i know on a th-350, the cable does not control line pressure. Only kicks it down into passing gear. I would set the cable at full tension when you are at WOT or when you want it to drop into a lower gear.

Siggy is correct on the th-350 the cable controls passing gear. You do not need to even hook it up. If you do decide to run it you should set it to be functional at wide open throttle....
