It seems to stay in high gear til I hit the gas to go...then it'll kick down hard. Could this be as simple as the kickdown cable adjustment? or is this something with the valve body?

It is a TH350 w/ B&M shift kit that worked just fine (except when the screen and filter fell off) before I rebuilt it.
