Hello, My name is Todd and obviously I am new to all this. I'm 26 years old and I live just outside of saint louis,MO. My project is a motor build. I'm pretty stoked because I've never done a build on my own and it seems to have become some kind of controlled obsetion(hobby). its a 4 bolt 454 bored 60 over that My brother is giving me a deal on and its machined and ready to go. I'm kind of torn between going big and nasty or conservative yet respectable . Either way its a big block. My favorite. This build will be a first time learning expeience for me from top to bottom. I know very little but I do have some reputable resorces who are willing to help. I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's advice and or comments .

Welcome, Todd. You're in the right place.
Very doable task, but I'd caution on the conservative (ie: proven and stable) side for your first build. Otherwise, one mod begat another begat another... Hard to go big & nasty without doing so in every facet of the build. Best of luck. :thumbup:
