What are you doing to the hood? Are we talking repairing dents or are you filling holes or something?

Brian

I took out hinge to make it one piece.
This is nothing yet, the 2 sides gotta get extended and the front nose piece needs to be made yet.

The pic below shows how much more needs to be done.

You are doing some super tin work there, wow. I love quotes and have some sent to me everyday. Todays was about steam and steel (the steam engine and steel furnace inventors were born today) and one of the quotes if perfect for you.

Steel can be any shape you want if you are skilled enough, and any shape but the one you want if you are not.

Thanks.

Lately its been any shape but the one I want........... :pain:

And of course before photoshop you had to do something like what I have done for years, simply cut up photos and draw on them. :D

Brian

I guess that would be Photochop.

Actually, i do the same thing with the Paint program. It will come in handy later when I chop the top.

Someone else Photoshopped the bling onto the car.

I ran my steering shaft right thru my nice motor mount eliminating 2 u-joints and shaft support bearings as well.

I had mounted the steering rack straight up and down (newb mistake) and had no choice but to run the shaft where it is now.

It sure hurt to start cutting the thing up. :pain:

By the way, I am freeing up SO MUCH space around my garage and shed. HOLY CRAP I could dance in there now with these parts finally on the car.

Brian
Looks like you're feeling better about the car now, or do you still not like it?

Its looking good now.

Nice to get the space back in the garage.

Today went to get rear end at speed shop & they still can't find the correct rotors for the disc brakes. They ordered another set but it will be mid week before we know if they fit. The rear is all together except for the brakes, BUMMER! :drunk: So when I got back home, seems like I struggled with everything I tried. I can't believe I spent the whole day and didn't get any more done than I did!

Don't let stuff like that get to you.
Getting frustrated slows you down and causes mistakes.

Move on to another part of the project and before you know it your parts will be in, you'll set them down somewhere as you continue on the other part of the project and a few weeks later you won't be able to find the parts. :D

Its all good no matter what you're working on.
