I am trying to figure out what a retro custom paintjob would look like. I want to add something to my car, my 40 pontiac sedan, and i want to paint it carbon fiber so i want a retro style at least so its kinda got an old vibe. Did they do tribal in the 40s and 50s. Basically i guess im asking a guy walks into a paint shop in the 40s or even 50s and says i want a custom look but no flames what do they tell him?
