I have a 63 Merc Monterey with a 390 and the Merc o Matic, really a three speed Ford o matic.
Having the engine rebuilt and would like to swap the O matic with a c4. I know I will need a special bell housing to mate the c4 to FE but cannot find if the other dimensions are the same. Particularly will the cross member be the same.
