I'm gonna repost this here, you'll all have to forgive me, but I need to find out these sizes by tomorrow morning.

Now, If I have 225/75/15 tires, what is it equal to in that other std. IE. 31x10.5x15.

So what would 225/75/15 be equal too.

Thanks.

Oh, okay so the first digit is how tall it is, what about the second digit in SAE, or inches?

ie. 225/75/15 equals about 28.2

so that means something like 28.5X10.5x15 right?

So what does the 10.5 equal?

take this example...
275/65/15

275 is the metric height of the tire 275 mm.

65 means that the width of the tire is 65% of the height.

15 is the rim diameter.

275/70/15 would mean that the tire width is 70% of the height and therfore a wider tire

I know all that, I know all about the standard metric sizes, it's conveting it to the other standard in inches that i need.

So I need to know what metric tire size would be equal to 31x10.5 in what ever size stardard that is.

So would 225/75/15 be equal to that?

I gotta be up in manassas tomorrow morning with some spares.

But thanks anyway, Arch got me the answers in the other thread I posted.

Basicly it is 31in is the tire diameter, 10.5 is the width of the tire and of course 15 is the rim size.

So it would be about 265/75(or 80)/15 in metric.

Thanks!
