I was surfing the engine section and stumbled on a very interesting post mentioning x2c motorsports and tremec trans. So me being the nonbeliever that I am checked out these people and found that they are claiming to have a tremec t500 trans that can handle an 750ft/lbs for less than $2000. Are these people legit or are they playing with themselves. Here is a link to their website's trans section.

Not so sure its too good to be true, as the last time I priced a Tremec they were only about $1400 stock.
I would call them and ask for some referances if youre not feeling quite kosher about them.

I do have a rare one myself. Its a 3 speed O/D single rail shift trans that was copied by Tremec, off of the Ford Toploader, then the shift linkage was made internal. The housing is completely aluminum.
It came out of an 80 F-100, with a 302 or 300 in front of it.
