here i go again! putting new torque converter in chevy 350.have 168 tooth flywheel.is this considered "large pattern or small ? [havent bought torque conv. yet, what is good brand ? thanking yall in advance, jimm.
Hey jimm, funny we were just discussing converters at work. Good idea not to buy converter until you know what your average r.p.m. is while driving(determined by your rear) and keep you stall speed below it. If you average 3,000 r.p.m. going down average highway stall speed should be below that. You don't want her slipping in and out while driving around, it'll wipe out your trans eventually.
hey!dmorris, got a problem in that area. not enough gears, soon replace, then2500 stall?going to go to 4.11 [currently at 3.73]tires 33 tall whaduya think?by the way whats available for my cleveland in the way of stud girdles?
