I am wanting to paint my front bumber gloss black. I am not wanting to use the base coat/clear coat that I used on the rest of the truck because I think it will be to hard to touch up. Since this gonna be my daily driver I am expecting rock chips. What do yall suggest to paint it with and will be easier to touch up? I am looking to something stronger than a spray can.

Thanks

probably single stage black, which is easy to maintain and paint and will be easy to touch up since it doenst have metallic. and i guess u can rock chip guard over it.

You can either use a single stage enamel or go get it powdercoated or you could even use POR-15's hardnose paint. Its a very strong durable paint and is cheaper than powdercoating.

By the way how did the hood turn out, got any pics?

I painted my front bumper with body shoots first. It gives a rough finish and holds up really well. After that I spray it with a ratlle can. now I can touch it up at any point.
