I have a 71 monte ss. Right now its a medium blue and fading,(original paint). It has a same color vinyl top. Has all the factory chrome strips.Its got nice chrome mags, and the widest 50s that will fit under the rear with out raising it. so it sits fairly low to the ground. To me it looks like granny still drives it. So my question is; Does anyone have any cool ideas for a make-over and turn her into a sharp 18 to 20 year old fox?

Hey, thanks for the info. That would look sweet. Im un sure about the fire out the back though. I woudnt be surprised if there wasnt a law against it. Ive done some body work and a little painting, but I have never changed a vinyl top is that very hard?

I havnt thrown any paint on it yet. I shot some templates just to see. But it dont give the total picture. I would like to make a combination unique.Thats why I asked for some help? But just a thought with the black and maybe some deep real deep puple pearl flames or something. Rear tires are p 295/50r15 10.5s fronts are225/60r15 9.5s. Ill have to check out those stealth rims. My mind is in over drive. Thanks!!!

I didnt think of the tinted windows; Thats also an awsum idea. The cowel hood I think I would have to break out the nibbler and warm up the welder. I dont Think there is a factory design. Im not sure on that one. Plus I might have to turn the exhaust out in front of the rear wheels; Because Im running 3in stainless exh. I apreciate all the input. What about building a set of rear window louvers? And maybe a wing on the rear?
