I am painting my car frame with Dupont Chromabase, I used the low temp reducer, and put on two coats of silver then two coats of Patriot Blue, and the three coats of Nason 4:1 mix clearcoat. The result is what I wanted, but it seems very fragile. If i just barely bump it, it chips. I have heard that I should have used a Flex additive in the clear to toughen it up. Any thoughts on this? Anyone else have this experience?

What kind of things could I have done wrong? I prepped like I was told, mixed according to directions, and the temp was at least 60 degrees. Any thoughts? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
