Guys,

I have a 70 GTO I recently purchased and when I turn fast enough around a corner the tranny slips. Anyone ever encounter this before? I think it is a turbo 400.

Change fluid if you haven't already i had a 75 TA that did that ended up water got in from over flow changed and was fine when i was getting crazy dang i would not do that if i had that car now

You sure it's not a faulty limited slip differential? If not, the filter might have come loose allowing the trans to suck air when the ATF sloshes when cornering, or the ATF is low.

check for a restricted vacume line to the modulator also look at the filter its supose to pivot on the mounting bolt
