Hi Everybody:
I'm building a Northstar powered 37 Ford. Engine in rear with 4T80E trans. I've just installed a trans oil cooler and an engine oil cooler, both have electric fans mounted on them. My question is, at what temp do I want the fans to come on? Summit has in-line temp switches that turn on at 180 degrees and off at 170, but this seems low to me. My engine will run at about 210 degrees, (If I can get it that warm), so the one cooler will be running most of the time. I don't know what's normal for the trans, but I assume it is also about 200 degrees. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
