It depends on the car. Early cars with the straight crossmember, yes. You simply slide the crossmember to where it needs to be and if the factory didn't pre-drill the holes, just put some in. On the 1978-88 A/G body cars and the 1977-1990 B/C-body cars, the crossmember is not straight, it's angled. The frame rails are not symmetric and you can't just slide it. There are different crossmembers for the TH200/350/four speed and the TH400/200-4R. The 700R4 crossmember is unique.Thanks a lot. One other question.
