What type of paint(and brand) have you used or recomend for a daily driven car? Will probably have metallic or pearl. Needs to be durable. We live down a dirt farm road that gets mud on the car no matter how slow you drive. Thanks

I use PPG, but there are a few others just as good(DuPont etc.), I just use PPG because its easily found here and its much less exspensive than house of kolor.

Get a BC/CC two stage polyurethane or acrylic urethane enamel, it will stand up great to that mud and sand.

Since all auto paint is ridiculously expensive (+$100/gal) get the best. Catalyzed urethane color coat/clear coat is the only way to go.

I have used dupont for the past five years and we have not had a problem with chips. Use the chromapremier system and activate the base. It holds up great for us. good luck
