I have an 81 Camro with a 3.8l V6, i was wondering if there was anything i could do give it more power?2nd if i swapped it with a V8 would i need all new motor mounts and have to lose my AC?

Change the mounts, keep the a/c, with the propper brackets.
These cars came with V8s, so parts shouldn't be hard to find.

If you go to a V8, be sure to install a good radiator. The V6 rad will not suffice. I put a Griffin univeral 28" x 19" in my Camaro. If memory serves correct, it was less than $200 at Summit.
