Looking into vega steering boxs for the 32 and have noticed the rod shops are around $400 and old used units on ebay are $75 to$150. I called the parts house and their new reman's are $150. I like the idea of the new units over the rusted donor peices. Probem I have is that the parts house units were only available in the power steering version. I only called the one store though, perhaps the other stores may have manual units? Is there any differance in the two if you leave the power steering lines unhooked ? Thanks for everybody's input

the vega power box is the same as your basic 75 camaro.

Yes, the Vega power box is way big compared to the standard box. The problem with most E-bay boxes is that the seller found out the box is worn and after finding out what it costs to have one rebuilt, decides to dump it and buy new.
