I have a 1939 Chev 2-door sedan. The passenger front vent window, will not close all the way. Have tried another vent window transmission would not close either. Gears in the transmission look-fine. There is plenty of lubrication.Has a new weatherstrip-also. Can not find any adjustment. Don't know what to do next.

Usually this means the divider between the window and the vent window is off by a bit. When you roll up the passenger window is there a little gap at the front top? Try to readjust the front track just a bit to stop the vent window from binding.
